Gina Jordan at WFSU interviewed me about health care during the pandemic a couple of weeks ago and it aired today. Give it a listen and let me know what you think!
I’ve also added the interview to the “About Alexandra” page of Barred Owl Press. I’ll continue to update this section with these types of appearances.
In other news, the Barred Owl Press is now almost entirely available in Chinese, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. (The drop down menu is in the top left corner or at the bottom depending on your device).
Take a look at my Life Inside essays in French, for instance.
We are investing heavily in translations because we are trying to reach patients across the globe. Please help us by sharing the site in available languages you and your friends and family speak together. And please definitely let me know if something is sounds bad or is plainly incorrect. I subscribe to a service but can make my own changes.
Our investment in languages isn’t just for show. I would like to one day talk about human dignity in health care with people all over the world and this is my first step in that direction and a show of good faith in the effort. Please be patient as my understanding in this arena improves and lend a hand when you can.
Finally, our merchandise is growing. I hope to have some sales available for the holidays. Peace and love to you and yours. 😘
P.S. Here is the form to fill out so that I can transfer your account to the new site.
